We’re delighted to share that due to an increase in project commissions, Abode are looking to add a talented person to our small team!
We welcome applications from Part II architectural assistants or architectural technicians / technologists.
Based out of our shiny new office in Uddingston, you will form a key part of our small team – working closely with the practice directors & project architect on all RIBA work stages of diverse and exciting architectural projects across Scotland, mainly in the residential sector.

The successful candidate should have strong technical knowledge with a keen interest in residential architecture. Day-to-day duties will include running projects (dependant on experience); assisting the team with office workload & administration; design output; and, most importantly, ensuring an exceptional level of customer service to our clients.
Key Requirements:
Be suitably qualified, with experience of working within a UK based practice.
Have a strong working knowledge of Revit & AutoCAD in preparation of drawings & details across all RIBA work stages.
Excellent working knowledge of Scottish Planning and Building Standards.
Experience of Adobe InDesign, SketchUp and Lumion desirable but not essential.
Experience in preparing planning and building warrant applications.
Capable of working both autonomously and as part of a small team.
Excellent communication skills with clients, design team, contractors and local authorities.
Full driving license preferred.
